Nintendo’s developer and producer of the Wii version of Animal Crossing, Katsuya Eguchi, has said in an interview with Kotaku that he is sure a Metroid game
will be released for Wii U. Eguchi is currently working on upcoming Wii
U projects and has revealed details about how the unannounced Metroid title could work on the new console.
“I can’t give you any details now, but I’m sure there will be a new Metroid release making use of the new controller, not just to control Samus and her ship but also to give the player a new source of information. Maybe the player is looking at the screen but has the information that they need to defeat the enemy in their hands. You could look through the screen and scan your enemy and find where its weak-spot is.”
From what Eguchi is saying, a Metroid game sounds just right for the Wii U’s new controller combination. Personally I would like to see Nintendo take Metroid back to the Super Metroid (SNES) style platforming gaming, rather than something more like Metroid Prime
(GC). However demonstrated by the examples of games coming to Wii U
shown at this year’s E3, it would appear more likely for Nintendo to go
with a more Metroid Prime styled game as it would match their ‘hardcore’ focus, to compete with mainstream titles such as Halo.

Yes this game system need this great game I do hope they goto more of explore type of game instead of a shooter type,
ReplyDeleteDon't you know the game maker only know how to make one type of game and that is the FPS! Its very sad. There are a few great game out there but most of them are still FPSs

ReplyDeleteThank we want this site to be easy.The fact that you don't have to sign in to give you 2 cent,we should have more people.I was hope the FPS would fade away and we would have more games like the old RE games or Silent Hill games or Skyrim games.They don't have to make every game like COD or battlefield.I want a thinking type of game like the game I have above butthis was until they took that away and give us not a Resident Evil of old,solve this to make to the next section or you would die there ,they give us a shooter game I want the old style of game back where you had to use a little mind power.Nowdays just shoot it.. Im tired of this
