Microsofts talks about some complaints people have about the Xbox One.

Microsoft addresses some major question about Xbox One before their vey important press conference:

1. How will used games be affected?

“Today, some gamers choose to sell their old disc-based games back for cash and credit,” reads Microsoft’s post “We designed Xbox One so game publishers can enable you to trade in your games at participating retailers.  Microsoft does not charge a platform fee to retailers, publishers, or consumers for enabling transfer of these games.” This means that publishers can decide if they used game sells will be allowed. They can also set up fees and Microsoft claims that they will not take part in those fees. This is somewhat better but still not what people wanted :(

2.  Will you be able to share games with your friends?

Microsoft says you can, but it will be limited. These friends have to be on your friends list for 30 days and each game can only be given once. This is still NOT what people wanted to hear but at least it is better then having to pay a fee.

3. Do you really have to be online all the time?

The system can be played offline for 24 hours and up to 1 hour on a friends system. You can do other stuff like watch movies offline but you cannot play games offline after the allotted time. It is also recommended to have a broadband connection of 1.5 mpbs. If you don't have Ethernet you can use your phone's broadband.

  1. Sound like a lot bull shit, what in the hell is happen over in that company have they go completely crazy. Look Im try stay neutral in this but I think I' going to have to bypass a game system this go around. Another thing what the hell with this stay online all the time even if you play a game like Skyrim which isn't a online game you still have to stay on time, this is bull shit and this online thing would stop people who don;t have a highspeed internet connection from buying their system,I think they are screw themselves.A lot of people buy the xbox 360 had never used their online service. Like me until release where I used to live we could only get dial up,many people whom don't live by a major cites have the same problem. Another factor is the prices which no one is say nothing about.I think it would be around $400 plus tax plus a game or two for $60/game. I think the PS4 will win this time around plus we haven't saw any 1st party game for the Xbox One maybe at E3.I just hope they will clear up some stuff and change some stuff they are forcing on people like watching TV ,its a gaming system not another cable box which many people already have,I don't know about you I pay a gaming system to play games and once in while to view Breaking Bad but about 99.99% of my game system is used for playing video games. Please only give use a gaming system and let that other stuff like TV,Movie, music ,be a distance 2nd..

    1. It look like you guy become in the Sony party camp.Xbox1 is going to be great and I'm going to be the first to get one. I'm always online anyway ,so what you have to be online to play your game,so what!

    2. The point is it should be your choice to be online. Another freedom they are taken away from you. They said well you can used your cell phone to get on line,ok only if you have a good cell phone and a good and cheap internet data plan because if you don't and want to download something it could end up cost you lots of cash. But the fact is they aren't giving me and other what we asked for and that is a GAME SYSTEM first and that extra tv stuff way back last place, they are giving us a TV cable box first and if they get around to it we might get some game. Plus I don't like to be told YOU NEED this.I like to tell them we need and game system only hell with the other stuff. But I hope they can make me wrong and convert me to said wow they are giving us a hardcore gaming system only and hell with the extra stuff most people don't need anyway because they already have all that TV stuff anyway!! Come XBOX call me out ad give some good hardcore game about 8 games and good games. And Stop this making games last place

  2. I agree with you! Seems like there are to many rules! You can only play offline for 24 hours- you should be able to play offline for however long you want. I also agree about all the media stuff. WHY DONT THEY FOCUS ON GAMES? I believe that many people are wanting a ps4 because they are more focused on the hardcore gamer where Xbox One is focused on family entertainment. There are also a lot of fist party games for ps4 and one for xbox one. Like you said I am hoping for a great e3 so they can redeem themselves. I am also hoping for reasonable prices. Analysts believe that the ps4 will be under 400 dollars maybe 399. But we just have to wait and hope they will not make the same mistake as last time.
