Battlefield 3 and COD MW3

Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty MW3 Reviews

Battlefield as you know for most of this series was only on the PC and only had online game play. But on
Battlefield 3 they did add a single play campaign and released the game on the Xbox, PS3,and PC
Again poor New York and Paris have a problem. There is a atomic weapon hidden and its up to you to find it and stop it.

The graphics are right on and so is the gameplay and they have all the weapons you would want from the series. If I remember Battlefield was about driving vehicles. Yes you get to drive a tank for one mission and be the weapon guy in the jet. It never gives you the change to drive it. So really you only get to drive a tank THATS ALL!! I was expecting some jeeps, boats, and helicopters.

The online game play is the reason you buy this game because it is great and the campaign is good but lacks in some aspects. Nine great maps set the stage for up to 64 players to fight it out in a variety of urban, industrial, and military locations. These places all look beautiful, though the grassy hills and blue skies of the Caspian Border are naturally more appealing than the drab urban corridors of the Grand Bazaar. The maps vary widely in size and offer diverse environmental elements, including claustrophobic tunnels, coastal roads, desert plains, and a variety of multistory buildings. Many man-made structures can be damaged or destroyed by the explosive tools at your disposal, creating new infiltration routes or removing cover positions. The maps are designed to create opportunities for combat at all ranges, and the element of destruction lets you manipulate the environment to create even more.

Combat is not just about where you are, but also about how you get there, and the variety of vehicles is one of the things that makes Battlefield so uniquely engaging. Small maps might only have a Humvee or a light armored vehicle, while larger ones boast buggies, tanks, amphibious transports, helicopters, and jets. There are a few variations within each class of vehicle that make them better suited for troop transport, anti-infantry, anti air, or anti-vehicle combat, and learning how to get the most out of each one is a blast, even if you're sometimes the one getting blown up. Whether you're piloting, gunning, or just going along for the ride, vehicles offer a key tactical element that can change the tide of battle when used by a savvy squad. Using a vehicle well can earn you powerful upgrades and bonus weapons, but it can be tough to get the hang of the flight mechanics for helicopters and jets. It's a shame there's no way to practice flying them outside of active multiplayer matches (with one exception), though you can take comfort in knowing that you are at least entertaining your fellow players when your jet nose-dives into a mountain.

Battlefield 3 does add a co op section to its multiplayer but I highly recommend you staying with the competitive modes. The co op is not engaging and i wished they would have done more with it. So you will not be getting this game for the single player or the co op. The online competitive modes is where its at. It is very fun with many guns and upgrades for you to explore. The campaign is good but not anything special. Its  just the same old story we have all heard before in shooters. The story is so boring that you will just stop paying attention's . It is ran by agents interrogating the protagonist, these agents are completely emotionless. But i can deficiently praise the sounds when in battle. You can here the echoing of shots and the explosions in the distance.

Battlefield 3 has a exceptional multiplayer and outstanding graphics so it gets a 8.0

Call Of Duty MW3For the PS3,Xbox 360 and the PC and the Wii(?)
The game starts right where MW2 left off. As Captain Price rushes to tend to Soap’s gunshot wounds, we flash back to some of the key scenes of Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. After the brief review, we are dropped into the New York scenario that was showcased in the myriad of demos and walkthroughs of the game. From the destroyed corridors of New York City streets to a harbor filled with a fleet of Russian war ships, MW3 truly does feel like you are experiencing World War 3. MW has always been renowned for its iconic set pieces that span the entire globe, with the third entry managing to still provide gamers with thrilling run-and-gun moments.
As you make your way through the single player campaign, you may feel some “inspiration” from previous Call of Duty games.

    The online game:
Modern Warfare 3 also includes some adjustments to weapon upgrades and kill streaks; you now unlock attachments, camouflage, and stat-boosting proficiencies by leveling up individual weapons through use. Furthermore, kill streak rewards have been reissued in strike packages that offer some new assets to play with, like a remote recon drone and a ballistic ground-based booby trap. The Assault strike package works in the familiar way and rewards you for killing successive enemies in a single life; the Support strike package doesn't care if your streak spans multiple respawns; and the Specialist strike package rewards you with extra perks instead of traditional killstreak rewards.
As you know they added dog tags which you have to get in order to get credit for the kill, this was done to stop people from camping out,but people still camp out.Stop camping out PEOPLE!!!!!

The campaign gets you emotionaly engached with the characters unlikie several other shooters out there. You are sad when a character dies and might have a deep hatred for the enemy. Call of Duty has always offered a great story and online gameplay. The graphics do seem to be toned down some from the previos installment MW2 which in my opinion looks a lot better than MW3 in terms of graphics. Your teamates my get annoying as they yell the same things over and over agian. For example you will hear " im reloading" or "rpg!"  several times in one mission. This is a small complaint that happens in several shooters. MW3 offers a spec ops mode that is highly recommended. You have to play like a team to get past some of these difficult modes and can be played splitscreen or online. This also has a survival mode that fits perfectly into a Call of Duty game and is a good way to get used to the maps.

This is overall worth your money because the campain is exceptional and the online will keep you playing forever. I am getting tired of seeing basically the same thing over and over agian in Call of Duty games with only small improvments. But judging MW3 only I give it a 9.0
