A 2DS

This is not a joke, nor is it a typographical error. Nintendo has announced a new handheld that strips the 3D out of its popular 3DS device. The Nintendo 2DS is a real thing, and the form factor is different than its brethren.
The 2DS is a slate-like device that doesn't fold. The target of the lower price point device are youths, and the 2DS is described as an "entry-level" portable.
It will retail for $129.99 and come in red and blue. It will be available on October 12, 2013, which is the same day as Pokémon X and Y. It will play all DS and 3DS titles. I always turn off the 3D thing because it hurt my old eyes. So most of the games I play are only 2D anyway. So if you have a 3DS just turn 3D thingy off and save 129.99.. That is still a good price I guess?!!
