Some Really Sad News About Irrational Games

Some sad news that involves Irrational Games. A very talented game developer who is responsible for the Bioshock series. You will be seeing no more games from this company. Here is what studio head Ken Levine has to say: "I am winding down Irrational Games as you know it.I’ll be starting a smaller, more entrepreneurial endeavor at Take-Two.  That is going to mean parting ways with all but about fifteen members of the Irrational team. There’s no great way to lay people off, and our first concern is to make sure that the people who are leaving have as much support as we can give them during this transition.” This is financial support, and a chance to interview with another Take Two studio. It is sad that there will never be any more award winning games from this remarkable studio. But the worst of it is all the lay offs, I am glad that they are getting support and I wish the best for them. We just have to look at this positively and hope that Levine and his team will provide some great games in the future which I am sure they will, because they are a talented group.
